Pintertest Kitchen 19: Sour Cream Almond Pound Cake

Easter was amazing.

One of my favorite Sundays in Hope's short history.

The weeks leading up to it were crazy.

Our little family is pretty tired.

But the best kind of tired.

So now we're up at Bass Lake for spring break vacationing with friends.

Relaxing.

Swimming.

Fishing.

Semi-hiking.

Eating.

All the best things.

On Easter Sunday I made this sour cream almond pound cake that I had pinned a while back.

And you need to, too.

As soon as possible.

It's quite delicious.

Add strawberries and fresh whipped cream.

And you will be a very happy camper.

Don't forget there's a really fun perk this month thanks to Julie.

  3. So only the filling from my cupcakes came from Pinterest. Hope that still counts. First time linking up here, heard about your link up on Joy's Hope. I love the print from Julie. That pound cake looks really yummy, I need to try it out.

  6. uh hem (clear throat), BASS LAKE!!!!!!! you're SO CLOSE!
i kinda want to crash your party. :-)

you should eat at el cid. ask for green sauce with your chips (oakhurst)
you should also eat at millers (other side of the lake) as for a fudge bucket.
you should only get coffee at the cool bean (next to pizza factory and mc d's). best coffee, and people ever!
you should also take a photo in front of the weird bass lake-hollywood sign, because it's weird and well you should do it.

    HAVE FUN!
